 Managing International Data in Litigation

Sheila Mackay – VP, Professional Services, Daegis

Sheila Mackay is the Vice President of Professional Services for Daegis and is responsible for the success of Daegis’ professional services group including the consulting, client services and project management teams.  Sheila has over 19 years of experience working for law firms and litigation technology service providers alike.  Ms. Mackay is a frequent speaker for the Practicing Law Institute, Glasser Electronic Discovery and LegalTech conferences.  She has written and published many articles and is an active member of the Sedona Conference and EDRM.

Karla Wehbe – Information Resources Manager, Bechtel Corporation

Karla Wehbe holds a law degree from the Sorbonne University and has over 12 years of experience in litigation technology, working for law firms and a corporation. She is currently the Information Resources Manager for Bechtel Corporation, based in San Francisco, where she is responsible for the design and implementation of complex data management systems in support of a variety of litigation cases. Karla consults with and advises counsel on document management for large-scale litigation.

Beth H. Parker – Partner, Arnold & Porter LLP

Beth H. Parker is a partner with Arnold & Porter LLP in San Francisco, California.  She handles complex litigation, specializing in intellectual property, antitrust, constitutional and civil rights, and advises technology clients in intellectual property transactions.  Ms. Parker has written and spoken on a wide range of legal topics involving electronic discovery, mediation, intellectual property, privacy, gender discrimination and reproductive rights issues.  In 2005, she was named one of the Top 75 women Litigators in California by the Daily Journal; California Lawyer of the Year, Pro Bono; and a Northern California Super Lawyer in 2004-2008.  She has received, among other awards, the 2004 Pro Bono National Law Journal Award, the 2000 Fay Stender Outstanding Service Award from California Women Lawyers, and the 1992 President’s Pro Bono Service Award from the State Bar of California.
