George Socha, President of Socha Consulting, co-author of The Socha-Gelbmann eDiscovery Survey

A litigator for 16 years, George Socha is President of Socha Consulting LLC, offering services as an electronic discovery expert witness, special master, and advisor to corporations, law firms and their clients, and legal vertical market software and service providers in the areas of electronic discovery and automated litigation support. George also is co-author of the leading survey on the electronic discovery market, The Socha-Gelbmann Electronic Discovery Survey.  In 2005 he launched EDRM (the Electronic Discovery Reference Model project)(www.edrm.net), now is its fourth year. George has a J.D. for Cornell Law School and a B.A. from the University of Wisconsin - Madison.

  David Cessna, Chevron Services Company - Litigation Consultant

David Cessna is a Litigation Consultant within the Litigation Discovery department at Chevron.  He works in collaboration with litigation teams, IT professionals, outside counsel, and external consultants to support individual case information strategies.  David provides guidance and oversight during the entire discovery life cycle for litigation, subpoenas, and investigative matters.  He also acts as a vendor liaison, managing relationships with the company’s preferred vendors providing litigation support services.  David earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M University.

  Timothy Westcott, Pitney Bowes Legal Solutions – Senior Consultant for Legal Technology and Solutions

Timothy Westcott has spent the past 25 years implementing technology solutions and educating users within law firms across the nation. He has served as the Practice Support Director for firms such as Cravath Swaine & Moore in New York, Davis Wright Tremaine in Seattle and most recently Alston & Bird in Atlanta. With a law degree from Seattle University and extensive technology experience, Timothy bridges the chasm between legal and technical staffs and serves as a critically needed advocate and consultant for each. He is known for creating efficient solutions for litigation support, knowledge management, intranet/extranet deployment and general technology utilization. Timothy has implemented several products (both hardware and software) in his own production environments, both in-house and for off site war rooms and trials.

Cathleen Flahardy has been an active writer and journalist for nearly a decade. She started her career with Seattle magazine as an editorial assistant, then brought her talents back to her Chicago hometown as the associate editor of American Nurseryman magazine. In 2003, she joined the editorial team at Corporate Legal Times, now InsideCounsel, and quickly climbed the ranks to senior editor. In 2005, she took a two-year hiatus from journalism to gain experience in corporate America while obtaining an MBA from Loyola University Chicago. In February 2008, Cathleen rejoined the InsideCounsel family as editor.
